Glitching the Commute is a visual meditation on the pulse of Toronto’s public transit system, where urban rhythm, anonymity, and emotion collide. Through my own research-based photographs of my daily commutes (faces blurred, moments fleeting), this glitch art series distorts the ordinary into the extraordinary. Each image is digitally fractured and reassembled, echoing the fragmented emotional landscape of city life. The project explores how routine movement through shared spaces becomes a silent choreography of strangers, each carrying unseen stories. By glitching these scenes, I reveal the tension between presence and invisibility, routine and rupture. thus transforming transit into a canvas of digital expression.
